There are many markets on the Algarve and most weekends there is at least three or four to choose from. Below is a list of the main ones:


Albufeira Rua da Escolas, near the municipal canteen 3rd Saturday every month, Weekly Market 1st and 3rd Tuesday every month

Alcoutim Pereiro: In front of the parish church 4th Sunday every month, Vaqueiros: Exit to Bentos 2nd Thursday every month

Aljezur Igreja Nova 3rd Monday every month.

Almancil Near the school 1st and 4th Sunday every month

Castro Marim 2nd Saturday every month

Faro Estói: Near the food market 2nd Sunday every month

Lagoa Area in front of Fatacil 4th Sunday every month, Area in front of Fatacil 2nd Sunday every month

Lagos Area at the municipal stadium ( Estádio Municipal) 1st Saturday every month

Loulé Area at the end of R. da Nossa Senhora da Piedade, in front of the Convent de St. António, at the exit to Boliqueime/Albufeira Every Saturday

Monchique Rua D. Francisco Gomes de Avelar 4th Sunday every month Largo do Mercado 2nd Friday every month

Olhão Fuzeta: Near the camping ground 1st Sunday every month, Moncarapacho: Near the street Rua das Olarias 1st Sunday every month

Portimão Exhibition area (Parque de Feiras e Exposições) 1st and 3rd Sunday every month, Exhibition area - Caldeira do Moinho 1st Monday of the month

Quarteira At the Jardim Filipe Jonas Every Wednesday

Sagres In front of the market hall 1st Friday every month

Sao Bras de Alportel Rua 1.º de Junho 3rd Sunday every month Rua Boaventura Passos Every Saturday

Silves Algoz: Largo da Várzea 1st Saturday every month Exhibition area 3rd Monday every month

Tavira Avenida D. Manuel I (near the new market hall) 1st Saturday every month, Rua Vale Caranguejo 3rd Saturday every month

Vila do Bispo In front of the market hall 1st Thursday every month
